SEASON ONE
Master Chief Petty Officer, ROB FIELDS (42) is a highly decorated Navy SEAL. Following a tragic incident that results in the death of one of his sons, TIM (16), and the paralysis of the other, BOBBY (13), Rob retires from the Navy to dedicate time to his youngest.

With his body broken, Bobby spends most of his time developing and living within video games. Rather than combat-based games or those focused on competition in one form or another, Bobby builds beautiful virtual worlds where he peacefully exists, like Lau Tzu and the great sages of old.
​
While all is copacetic within Bobby's virtual worlds, the same cannot be said for the global gaming industry. A mysterious foe, THE CITIZEN, has hacked into the world's leading combat games, unleashing an army of avatars who lay waste to all, rendering the games unplayable.
​
The CEOs of the gaming companies form a consortium to deal with the threat. When it becomes clear that they're at the Citizen's mercy, he offers them a way out. He challenges them to a virtual Battle Royale, winner take all.
​
The CEOs task LYZ RAMOS (29), an immersive reality expert, with identifying the five best gamers on the planet. What she finds is not what she expected; a motley group of teenagers with widely varying socio-economic backgrounds and competing nationalities. They're dubbed The Red Team.
Needing to turn this rag-tag group of gamers into a highly performing team, Lyz enlists Rob Fields. By employing SEAL training doctrine and some masterful coaching, Rob transforms the gamers into a formidable fighting unit.

On the eve of the Battle Royale, the gamers are sucked into an alternate world, known as the Quantum Field - from where today's visionary physicists believe all matter originates. While within the Quantum Field, the gamers face terrifying battle scenarios that test their fortitude.
​
Their training, their bond with one another, and Rob's leadership,, who fights beside them, are the only things keeping them alive. In the Quantum Field, there are no second lives.
Interspersed between the harrowing battles, we delve into the gamers' troubling backstories.
We're also provided with flashbacks of Lyz's life, and a long one it is, going all the way back to ancient Greece. Lyz is one of the biggest ass-kickers in the history of the world.

Her interest in Rob, Bobby and the gamers is unclear, but one thing is certain. There's a mythological undercurrent to our story.
​
Late in Season One, we finally discover the source of Rob's pain - all related to the circumstances surrounding his son's death.
​
Rob's guilt has left him shattered. How does a man come back from such a calamity? Does he even want to continue living?
​
In Season One's climactic ending, Rob is forced to answer that question when he squares off against The Citizen, a perpetrator whose identify he could have never predicted and one his ill-prepared to face.

The future of entertainment is immersive. Video games are already there, but the world is waiting for an immersive streaming experience. Given its subject matter, immersive reality and advanced video gaming, Quantum Fields is positioned to be that breakout show for mainstream audiences.

Our vision is to produce the series as immersive. That is to say, viewers will have the option to watch it on a standard television set, or experience select purpose-built scenes via a VR headset.
